Hi all! This tool was made to make use of tig filler wire, I did this so you can just chop the filler rod to suit what you are measuring which gives you a huge range of travel. It allows you to copy measurements very accurately and transfer them to a tape measure. I use this commonly when checking distances between my scan markers to proof my 3D scans. This cheap little tool is also great for getting into spot your tape measure cant.
These are 3d printed in ASA filament which is UV resistant and handles temperatures up to 100°c (apparently). They are available to suit 1.6mm,2.4mm and 3.2mm filler rod.
